just curious. i mean i would love to be able to do that. anyone have any tips? For a kid?

welll i would say... just be yourself.. you have to get used to the stage first though... and make sure you don't have stage fright... go to some plays... check em out... learn from them.. expressions and what not... get into the character... i'm not a professional... and i don't act.. but i'm a dancer... and this is kind of my process.. excep replace acting with dancing =]

Some people are naturally talented and can do well on stage with some roles without a lot of training. Eventually, however an actor will need some formal training. If you're pretty good without acting lessons then you can only be better with them. Good luck.

Be your self and have fun! I'm only 13 and have been acting for years and never had a lesson it isn't professional theater.
Just being around the people who have been acting for 20 years is like a lesson.

what does barely on stage mean yes, you can act without lessons, because it is an innate quality of humans to imitate, that is how we learn acting is just doing what children do when they play house, or tea party, they act. they become people they really aren't and they enjoy it it is called playing and it is fun.
