I only have ( ) and Takk.. and i think i prefer ( ) a bit more. Excellent band.
Has anyone seen them live?

Yes I have heard great things about ágætis byrjun (the fetus one), actually i forgot about that one.

Tough one and great question!
Takk... has become my favorite over the past few years. I used to think Ágætis byrjun, but after the live show, Takk is a better more singular album and really explores the epic and unwinding melodies that make them such a great band..
If you have the opportunity to see them live, it is by far one of the best shows I have ever seen

I have Takk, (), and Agaetis Byrjun and actually prefer Agaetis, although all 3 are beautiful pieces of work. I listened to that and Explosion in the Sky's The World is Not a Cold Dead Place over and over while painting my living room. I'll admit, I find it really hard to get into a lot of the bands from this era (there are some I like) but Sigur Ros is fantastic.
A friend of mine is a huge fan and has said they put on a truly outstanding live show.

Well those two are probably their two best albums, although it's so hard to choose. Personally I think Takk is the best, although you should really check out Agaetis Byrjun, especially the songs "Star Alfur" and "Svefn-G-Englar". Both are among their absolute best songs. You won't be disappointed.

I actually prefer Takk...but ( ) is very good to relax to, or listen to on a winter day.
Never seen them live, but I hear great things. They're obviously a very talented group.
