ok i invited my friend over for tommorow at 1. But i didnt know my mom was taking me to the mall (maybe) to get new clothes. So i told my mom she can take me and my friend and my friend can help me. But she said no she will only take me. But she said we can go another time but i really wanna go tommorow!! So im thinking of calling my friend and telling her sumthin came up. What time should i call her? also what should i say? also am i being spoliled and selfish and rude? be honest! thx for answering!

also she haves no cell phone so ill call her house what time should i call i wanna call a little bit in advance i was thinking 9:30 or 10?

also if i wait it will be for a couple days maybe a week or 2 cuz shes not gonna be here for a week so thats another reason i wanna go with my mom cuz i wanna spend a little time with her b4 she goes! but i dnt want to be rude to my friend

just ring your friend tell her the truth and go with your mum,you must have a fair idea of clothes you want.so go early and tel your mum that you would like to have your friend over for lunch,so you can do lil fashion parade,for both of them..you all may enjoy "girly"time....thank your mum too..YOU SAID IT WAS A MAYB that your mum is taking u to the mall.find out if its shopping time or not..we mums do say mayb and it usually means no.so go see ur friend.your mum wont let you go without clothes,u may have to wait lil longer,unless u really want somthing bad.i agree shops dont run out of clothes..

If your mom is willing to take you another time, I think it's selfish and rude to cancel on your friend. It shows bad character. The fact that this is a dilemma for you indicates that you know that canceling out on your friend is wrong. I might be wrong, but I'm guessing that the mall won't run out of clothes before you get there if you wait a couple of days.
