All the print-off shipping labels I have seen are 4" by 6" and the biggest face of my box is smaller than that. It says in the instructions not to fold the label over edges or anything. I know I could use a bigger box but it would be nice not having to use so much packing material for just an MP3 player. Could I just use a bunch of stamps?

Could you put your box into a quarto sized bubble-pac envelope? The envelope should be able to take the shipping label and your box will be well protected too.

I think as long as the barcode will fit on one side you will be okay. They just don't want you to fold the barcode over because that makes it a pain for the automated scanning during transit.
