First off, Barber had 14 rushing TDs last year (2 receiving, which makes 16 total). Second of all, that was tied for 3rd in the league.

Do I think Barber is a solid #2...I think he's okay. If he was my number 2, I'd want good running back depth behind him in case he doesn't score the first three weeks. With a new head coach, you don't know what he's going to do. Yeah, Barber had 2 TDs against Denver, but J. Jones did steal one goal line TD from him. I would want a B. Jackson or Norwood or C. Williams behind him in case he gets less goal line touches. I do like Barber and think he could easily produce the 13+ TDs that we love, but you just have to get insurance for risky players like Barber.

Yes, definitely not a #1 RB and if he is a #3 RB you are in very good shape. He could make a solid #2 RB, but it really depends on how deep the league is. Parcells liked the two back system and used him and Jones. Hard to tell what the new coach will do. He is a bit risky to take since were not sure how it will play out. He did score 14tds last year!

Great #2 cause with Julius Jones maybe gone (trades) he could be a 3 down back, and he had tons of TDs even as a #2 last year, which are great for fantasy. He'll AT LEAST share the runs 50/50.

I stay away typically from backs that split carries in a two back set (ie... barber and jones). That being said, he had 13 TD's last year (second most) so if it's a TD league, he'd be a good pick.
