Because that means they will be less rich. They help bring the super poor up to the poverty level.

The rich do help the poor. Most rich people are the ones that are creating jobs which allows the person who works hard to make a reasonable living. If you want to be rich do what your boss is doing.

One theory says it's because the rich won't stay rich if the poor get rich too. That is, if everyone's rich then rich is "average" and therefore not that great. The theory says that for some people to be rich, other people have to be poor. It sucks, but it has a lot of truth to it.

Most rich people feel they have earned what they have and feel every other individual is capable of doing the same. The truth is that if every individual was on the same level financially, who would do the manual labor? Rich people don't want others to become financially independant or stable, because if they were they wouldn't have anyone to do their hard labor for them. The harder you work the less you get paid. That's the way it works in this country. The truth is people become rich off from others blood, sweat and tears. Rich people are careless souls only looking out for their own interests and don't give a rats @ss about the poor. When they give to charity they do it for political reasons, not out of the kindness of their heart or because they care about their fellow human being. It's used or be used. Thats the name of the game.

Those who say poor people are lazy and are looking for handouts are ignorant.
There are many people who work extremely hard and are still poor. Why? Because they dont have the same options as people with more money do.
Take getting a loan. Poor people tend to have bad credit because you have to borrow money to survive in this world if your job doesnt pay enough.
Take working at the bottom of a corporation, and working your hardest and best and never getting promoted. Its the same exact thing.
Just because someone is poor doesnt mean its their fault. They have many things pushing against them.
You get your finances in order and think hey maybe I can see clear of this mess, and then, like clockwork, something happens.

I think the major difference between the rich and poor is college degrees. But when the poor cant even afford to go to college, there you go. And grants and scholarships and funding still have minimum requirements.
Like, your household income has to be under $20k for example, in order to qualify.
Yet you have three people and you make $34k household. You cant get the loan. Even though your living paycheck to paycheck because once again, you have to borrow money to survive.

Ok think of it this way...
The Rich is Judy & the poor is Fred...

Judy has $100,000.00 a year

Fred has $20,000.00

So here's another scenario, Judy was left her father's company which is somehow worth over $10 million. From that, she gets a stipid end of over $80,000 a year, therefore she has NO mortgage, no debt ect.

Plus Judy is single, she's also without children--in her defence she has 2 DOGS...very spoiled & annoying & yippy!

FRED meanwhile has 3 kids, and one on the way because they couldn't afford birthcontrol. His wife can't work because it actually makes more sense to financially stay home & do the childcare.

Plus a few yrs ago, because Fred's parents brought him up in the same situation--he hadn't any help financially fr him folks.
So he (accidently) missed a few payments on his credit cards--now Freddy has really BAD credit b/c those credit issues follow you for 7 years!!

Plus his wife, was someone he met while working at a homeless shelter during college to fullfill his feelings for caring for others. She was a social worker there, totally underpaid & OVERworked...

From that she developed health trouble, they can't pay those bills, she went into debt, yada yada yada...

ANYWAY--my PT is DIFFERENT People, come from different experiences, come from DIFFERENT WORLDS....

So seriously why would Judy even give some guy & his wife & his kids & their bills HER money?

Plus they aren't even living the SAME lives.

So really it isn't up to the RICH or the POOR

Its up to how both are taxed--and seriously when it comes down to it, here's the situation:

FRED gets TAXED to **** over a bunch of issues that mostly stem from the fact that HE isn't able to donate any money to any political lobby groups.

Judy on the other hand is able to go to her favorite parties & friends and just basically is able to donate money to her favorite causes & just isn't taxed badly...

So its up to the governments--NOT the people to fix the system....don't blame Judy & her ppl.

Basically discuss political pts with your local representative & MAKE them see your side of things

I have noticed with the research I have done over the past ten years, that a large amount of the rich people are not rich because of degrees, not rich because they physically worked harder than most, not rich because they are smarter than others. What I have found is most rich people are rich because of inheritance, another words being born into money or royalty, coming up with an idea that may or may not have needed a little twirking but ends up being a money maker by demand, and a lot by being in the right place at the right time, and then there are the ones who just so happened to purchase a piece of land they eventually oil was discovered underneath it. There a few other reasons for the rich becoming rich but no need to mention them. The point is, is that anyone could have been rich if they had been in the position the people who are rich found themselves in at the time. One of the easiest ways to become rich is to invent a product that the public will demand. The big problem with why there are not a lot more rich people or financially stable people through using these means is because of the lack of the money to get the product on the market. Which leads me to the fact that there are plenty of companies who help you with your invention but none of them will put themselves out there and finance your idea, even if they believe it will sell. Like me for instance I have had an idea for a product for going on three years now, a product I know for sure will sell to almost everyone who drives a vehicle. But I do not have the money for patients, for research, for marketing, for production, etc..etc. So I remain poor or at least someone who is not financially stable because of the lack of money, you know the old saying.. " It takes money to make money", well it sure is true in my case.

The owners of the multimillion dollar company I work for are rich, but they don't work hard and yet they are rich, we do and yet we aren't rich.

(and they wouldn't deny that either, but still we appreciate them keeping us employed and earning something)

What gets me, is that a rich customer bragging about all his properties and all his money gets extra deep discount when he buys something, yet a poor senior on a little fixed-income pension has to pay full high price for the same thing. Thats too twisted for me.

It is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the gates of heaven.

To me this means that a rich man will hold on to his money no matter the cost. Poor people will give you the shirt off their back because they know how it feels to go without. Rich people won't give you the time of day.
