I always hear about the country, but i never hear who is running it. i want to know the actual man in charge.

since darfur is in the sudan then it would have to be Sudan's Omar al-Bashir. the problem is not that darfur is not getting aid from others its that the corrupt and greedy government is not getting the supplies to them. they are taking the medical and food supplies and selling them on the open market and pocketing the money and getting fatter and richer while their ppl starve. i hear all these celeb's wanting to help but the best way would be to change the country's leadership. the ppl will always be oppressed if corrupt leaders are allowed to stay in power. its a horrible and sad situation and the ones that suffer are the regular ppl. you sure won't see bashir's family and men doing without.

The Sudanese president is Omar Hassan al-Bashir. He has consistently resisted U.N. efforts to bring in peace keeping forces to try and put an end to the "revolt" that has to date resulted in over 250,000 dead and over 2.5 million people forced from their homes.
