other than a job. i have made close to $3,000 in stocks the last 2 years, and i don't know how exactly i can make money in other ways than a job?

you could have a yard sale or sell stuff on ebay. you could buy stuff from yard sales or on clearance then turn around and sell it for more on eBay.

Wow! great job! There are lots of ways to earn money without having a job even if you are a "kid". You can establish some sort of business online or off line. You could write out a "How I made $3,000 in the stock market" special report and sell them on ebay or ??? Keep building your nest egg and learning and later you can invest in real estate or keep building businesses. Keep learning about the net and you can make a profitable web business and no one will even know how old you are. The site listed below was started by a 14 yr old and she did a pretty good job and I understand it's making her good money now too.

Hey, I am 17 so am a little older than you but think you might be interested in something. I have a job but I do not want it. Everyone thinks that a job is what you must have to live, but there are thousands of people earning money through things which I wouldn't call jobs.
One thing which is quite easy if you have a little time on your hands and some spare cash is internet marketing.
What you do is find products that people will want, and you market them for these companies and they pay you a commission. These commissions range from a few dollars to hundreds of dollars! If you are willing to work at it for a little while, you can build up a residual income quite easily (that is an income which generates money without you having to do anything).
One great benefit I think is that you can work anywhere. You don't have a product so you can live anywhere in the world and still work.
