ok, i ran a test at http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?flash=1

the result is
the download speed: 1439kb/s
upload: 398kb/s
latency: 34m

download speed is 1439kb/s? whatever i download from whatever website. my DL speed goes no higher than 300kb/s, 306kb/s is the highest i have ever seen. whats wrong with that?

Theres a difference.....what you see when you download is 306 KB/s....which is different then kb/s

B=bytes and b=bits

there is nothing wrong with that. the speed depends on the server u r downloding it from. you dsl speed might be 1.5mb/s but when u go to certain website and downloding something u will not get the same speed u have 1439kb/s. if the server u r downloading it from have less upload/download speed then u will get less speed and plus u r not the olny person downloading that file there r many other ppl so it gets slow.
