My dermatologist recommended 2500mcg of biotin per day. It takes a few months to notice the difference, as you have to wait for the nail to grow, but it's certainly worth it; my nnails have never been stronger. An added benefit was faster growing, stronger hair. I have no split ends and haven't had my hair trimmed in over 2 years.

Just Apply clear nail polish on
- go to a nail shop or buy some at the store-
dont put color nail polish on- just clear
i always put color on so thats y they get weak
so just give em a break and put clear

You can go the nail hardener way which u get at the chemist put on one coat for 3 days then take off and start over again, or you can go the Omega 3 or fish oil capsules

yup! my mom taught me that rubbing a sliced garlic on your nail makes it stronger and it actually works! so you rub the part of the garlic that you sliced on your nail. it's great, except for the smell =) just make sure you wash your hands to get rid of the smell, if normal soap and water won't get it out, lemon juice will get rid of it.
tip: when you file your nails, file them in only one direction. filing them in different directions will cause them to split and crack easier.
and the stuff you buy in the drugstores that say they make it stronger, don't really work. it's a mental thing, you really want strong nails and since you're using a product apparently condusive to that you actually start thinking you have strong nails. thats in my experience....

Make up some un-flavored gelatin and soak ur nails in it for 10 minutes. You can also just eat jello.
