i believe oppresive boredom has led me to a state of shocking clarity and thoughts of suicide im more than a litttle scared

What is your shocking clarity related to? If you see things about yourself that need to be worked, I would work on them. Do you feel hopeless? Being scared is a good sign and I doubt from what you wrote that you are going insane. When you are bored you are more likely to dwell on thoughts that are not beneficial to good mental health. If you can not seem to change things in your life so that you are not so bored, it might be wise to seek counselling so a professional can help you to resolve whatever is going on in your life.

Are you sure its boredom?
I use to be that way.. But now I find ways to amuse myself. And it really helps get the suicidal thoughts out of my mind.
Maybe you should find something you enjoy and stick with it.

Ask a clergy. Just because of their religious affiliation shouldnt scare you away form their insight, in fact, insist that they keep religion out of their thoughts to help you.

People do get bored, so you are going insane, just need to fine something good to deal wit your boredem, thats all!
