someone else scratched your car? when they opened their car door? stuff like that.
those damages get to me. i'm always thinking are people thinking i'm a bad driver, because some punk damaged my car?

ugh! At school, I always parked in a spot that only had one spot next to it (so it was the last spot in a row, the left was a parking space and the right was a little grassy island) I would always make sure to part as close to the curb on the grassy side as possible...leaving proably a good foot (at least) between my drivers side and the line of the parking space...
One windy day, someone parked OVER MY LINE and opened their door... HUGE dent the size of a plum on my drivers door...UGH and no note or anything

I think most everybody knows that the parking lot dings from someone opening the door and hitting your car in the process has nothing to do with anybody's driving. I wouldn't worry about it.

Most people think I'm a bad driver because I stop,fully at all stop signs and I never go over ten. Go Figure!!!!
My LOW insurance rates just make me forget what others think!!!!

You are paranoid. It seems like that your self esteem is invested way too much in your vehicle. If it bothers you that much then get it fixed. But it sounds a lot like women who keep wanting to improve their bodies through plastic surgery, just you do it through your vehicle.
By the way most people could care less about you on the road unless they hit you or you them.

I hate it when someone pulls out in front of you and you slam on your brakes trying not to hit them and they give you the finger like YOU are the one who done something wrong.
