-zombie outbreak
-attack of ai robots
-stock market collapse
...something to make life more interesting. maybe something to give us all more character or a strong sense of purpose or right and wrong.
im not saying i wish for it... but it woudlnt be THAT bad. at least life would be interesting again. right?

the weather is not crazy. welcome to planet earth... this is how the weather is. im glad you werent here 4.6 billion years ago when the earth was a ball of molten lava. you would have really been complaining then.
the war in iraq really is not that horrific in terms of history. it really realy isnt that horrific in terms of an all out zombie virus outbreak.
its tragic yes, but maybe a bigger tragedy is what all of us in the world need to bring us together.

My answer is NO. An old curse says "may you live in interesting times." And we do.There are enough interesting and horrible things happening around us every day without me wishing for more. Another Hitler? Of course not. I remember the trains and the camps, and have known some of the survivors. That whole period was a nightmare. So many dead and broken people, just like those involved in Katrina and in the current Iraq fiasco. What I wish for the world is peace in our time, but of course I will not live long enough to see this.

I think we've had about all the disasters we could stand. Hurricane Katrina, Iraq (it might not have been a disaster when the plan was to get binladen, but it's a damn mess now), and there is no such thing as 'zombies'.
Look at it this way, bird flu is just around the corner.

Intersting, but hard. This is a difficult question to answer, but to put a positive spin on things, the survivors would have a chance to remake society and leave out it's problems, or choose to not have a society at all. Man in the wilderness just can't happen today, unless we discover a new planet, and then, who would we choose to go?

hmmm... you know that is kind of a good question... disasters do give people strength and character...
Hurricane Katrina did that for me... you know while it was happening and shortly after it was horrible but looking back on it now, I'm a bit grateful it happened.. i not only survived, but i am a stronger person... and my life is 10 times better since ive had to move...
i dont really wish something of this magnitude would happen, but if it did... life certainly WOULD be more interesting... :))

i secretly wish for the humans in this world will come to their right senses.
sometimes for this to happen their seems to be always a bad outcome from before that we learn by our mistakes to improve and not to repeat again, so in saying that as history has proven from the past yes i secretly wuish for a disaster so that we can things around for the better and for all to work together to get through whatever it is that we have to learn to get by with eachother.

More interesting, so I guess the slaughter of innocent people just because they are a different race or religion is cool, as long as your entertained. Am I right? Or lets just have a disaster where thousands lose homes, lives, and family. But hey as long as xmilestogo is happy who cares right?

if you want it to happen, its not a horrible disaster.
i wouldnt mind a few destructive acts of nature or God to destroy a few cities. things like that show people what theyre really like. unfortunately, most people display the worst human traits. they complain, they are lazy, they are thieves, murderers, rapists, they are filthy. they are willfully stupid. they depend on the government for everything. nothing that destroys these worthless beasts or molds them into actual people can be called a disaster.
