It is the default IP of a router. If you do an ipconfig, you will find it is the router you are probably accessing the Internet thorough.

If you are asking what that number is, it is the default IP address programed into most home routers when they are shipped from the factory. It is also the default "gateway" address for most Internet connections.

The range between "192.168.1.1" and "192.168.1.255" is reserved for home computer usage. Those number can not be assigned to an Internet site.

The "192.168.1" identifies your home network. The final "1" denotes that this is the first computer on that network. All other computers on the network will also start with 192.168.1, but have a unique final number between 0 and 255.

Hope that answers the question....
