Why do people like talking about themselves so much?

Some people love talking stuffs about THEMSELVES maybe, because they love to be in the center of attention. And sometimes, they are not aware that there are some who are really , REALLY annoyed with them. Or even if they are aware of that, they just want to be known whether its a bad or good publicity.

some don't bother to listen to what others have to say,some talk ,just to hear themselves talk,with emphasis on their person only,which is a sign of inner insecurity.some feel that they impress others,when in reality,they are only trying to impress themselves,by making an impression of themselves

most often,this type of person just talks to fill space,and really don't have much to say.

Depends, are they talking about gained knowledge and experience with the intent of sharing. Or, are they talking of themselves in a bragging way.

Sometimes people do this, because they like to make themselves look better. Some people who do this are braggers, and braggers do talk about themselves a lot.

cause of their insecurities. they arent sure what people think of them so they think saying good things about themselves will work when it only makes them look conceited and/or self-centered
