good question about human behavior?

why do some people put down people, insult them, and do whatever they can to humiliate them? it does nothing to benefit them, nothing to benefit anyone they know, and it obviously doesnt do anything to make them look more mature. my question is why people insist on being rude instead of simply pointing out imperfections (the ones that matter i mean)?

Insecurity can really put you down. People are just doing these because they are jealous or insecure and sometimes, they just need a little attention. I have schoolmate who'd do anything to humiliate me but I soon found out that his parents were divorced. These people have nothing to do in their life. They express their anger through insults. That's just how people are these days.

They do it to cover their insecurities. Deep inside we know exactly who we are. By putting other people down, we are trying to elevate our own self worth.. A pretty pathetic business... don't you agree?
