I would return a wallet with cards in it or ID. However, if it was just $20 on the street, I would take it!

Over the years I have found 2 purses left in shopping carts and one wallet in front of a supermarket. I always return them to the store manager and let them go through the wallet/purse and contact the customer. I'd never rifle through it myself. You have no idea what a pain it is to cancel and replace ID and credit cards, if you have any conscious at all you must return it intact.

I would contact the number on the ID and set up a meeting place to meet him or her to return the wallet or offer to mail back the wallet.

I would definitely try to return the wallet to the rightful owner. If you lost your wallet wouldn't you want it returned?

dark Knight is optimal, call and cancel each card while you're advantageous you're no longer likely to discover your wallet back. Order a sparkling economic employer card straightaway. as far as getting funds out, go into the economic employer itself and clarify to them the area. as long as you be attentive to the account form, the pin form, and have a chew of mail sent to you that fits the handle on document, they'll launch a constrained quantity of money (often as much as 200 till the hot card is sent)

Absolutely return it. Even without identification I'd make every attempt to return it to its rightful owner.
Last weekend I was walking into a grocery in Shreveport, Lousyanna and my husband kicked something with his foot that turned out to be a neatly folded $100 bill. Before we could pick it up and ask the older lady in front of us if she had dropped anything some fat piece of crap with a beer gut and reeking of cheap beer & cigarettes swooped in, grabbed it and said "Finders, keepers" before taking off with it.

Oh you betcha' I would give it back. Would rather have God's blessing than any amount of money. One time I found $60. I put an ad in the paper and said something of value found, please call and identify. I prayed that if it was a person's drinking money I would like to keep it. If it was a person's grocery money I would like them to find it. My 6th caller said he must have lost $60 when he pulled the grocery list out of his pocket. His wife had just had a new baby and he was after some baby supplies. I told him, "Come get your money". Even though he didn't say thank you I still felt blessed the way it worked out. God definitely answered my prayer. Mmm
