If he accepts a plea that means that the prosecutor will offer a leaner sentence then he would have if found guilty. So any theories of any jail time over 3 years is not accurate.
If he accepts a plea then it'll mean he is truly guilty, lied to the commissioner, owner, and fans. I have a feeling that he will be the first person that I can think of in my 25 years to be banned from the NFL. He could go to Canada, as some had mentioned, but I have a feeling they may not want him either. The only other choices are go to the AFL, which again may reject him, or leave the world of football forever.
If he does accept a plea I know I'll be disappointed, and I am sure everyone in Atlanta will be as well. He'll be on his own after that, and more secluded than the cast members of Lost.

According to CNN.com the Plea Deal is at least a 1 year jail sentence plus fine.
Now we have seen what Roger Goodell has done with players having trouble with the law. Expect a 1 year suspension from the NFL. Now remember this ODELL Thurman from the Bengals has just served his 1 year suspension and has been denied reinstatement to the NFL and I think his offenses where DUI. Michael Vick is looking at missing this season. If he pleads, another year minimum in jail...now that's 2 years. Plus at least 1 year suspension from the NFL if not more. So he is looking at 3-5 years away from the sport.
I don't know about y'all however 3-5 years away from the league, I'll take this to court if i was him, because it's up to the FEDS to prove without a reasonable doubt that he is guilty. If he is innocent like he claims he'll be playing within 2 years.

If I were Vick, I would be more worried about how the commissioner, the NFL owners and others will feel about his integrity. It looks as if he looked the Falcons owner right in the face and spoke straight fiction. The same basically goes to the NFL where it looks as if he deliberately lied to them as well. He may have the athleticism but his integrity is shot. His contract in Atlanta and with other companies will be gone and his fines should be massive. Jail time will probably get weaseled down to a minimum as happens to most celebrities that can afford really good lawyers. But I say, I really don't know how he will ever work again. His credibility is shot and the fans should be outraged there in Atlanta.

if he accepts the plea, most likely he will get one year in jail , have to pay huge fines, and 5 years of probation. Falcons will probably cut him and the NFL will probably give him a year or two ban and i seriously doubt any teams in the NFL will ever have anything to do with him. So i think in a 2 years he will be playing football in Canada.

Besides prison time of a year to 6 years (dependent upon how soon he makes a plea agreement and what they agree to) and fines, he'll be banned for life from the NFL. So I hope he invested some of his millions to live off after he's released.

More than likely, the sentence that would be about 6 years if he was found guilty would be about 1 or 2 years in prison...
