I was still too wrecked over Fred, Tonks and Lupin to enjoy the couples happiness.

I wasn't really focused on the romance in the HP books, which is weird because I'm BIG on romance. I think it was because I was really wrapped up in everything else going on. I did smile when she said they were together in the epilogue, but I thought it was stupid they decided to kiss in the middle of the war. Extremely cheesy. I was happy about Harry and Ginny, too. And yes, it's very weird that some people wanted Harry and Hermione together. Did you know some people wanted Harry and Luna together, too? I always thought Neville and Luna would be better together, somehow. Not sure why. Though if you really think about it, it would be cute.

Yeah. I was too. It was always something that you knew that would happen, yet you were scared that somehow it wouldn't. Or, they would get together and break up.
Oh and I agree with you on the fact that a lot of people wanted Harry and Hermione to get together. I have no idea where they got that from! They is no base for that theory..

I was excited, too but seriously, didn't you sort of expect it? They have been acting like a "couple" the last few books; just not the romantic aspects. I bet J.K. Rowling is going to write a new book series on Harry and Ron's kids. At least I hope so!!

Well, it was sort of expected. :)
Oh, and Jo has already said, she will not write any more stories about Harry Potter, but she does plan to compile an encyclopedia of all the stuff that couldn't be fit into the books.

It would be interesting to know the details between book 7 and 19 years later. I think there were a lot of rocky patches.

Well, by book 5 it was pretty obvious that was going to happen. I was half expecting one of them to die in the last book, that would have been the only way they wouldn't end up together.

ME!!!! My sister also told me that Jo said she has no plans to write another book, but she won't say that she'll never write about him ever again (I'm guessing she means a real book, not the encyclopedia)
EDIT: I just found this!! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070819/ap_en_ot/people_rowling

I thought it was really sweet how after all their bickering since they first laid eyes on one another, that they finally realized how in love they were. They were meant to be...what else can i say?
