I was given one in my Singles Bible study in 1985, and have been writing in it every since. It helps me to remember things right down to the tiniest detail of my every day life.

No, but I wish I had or would make myself get with it. Not just for me, but for my family. So one day they could look through it and reminisce or learn something new to them. You know, I think I'm going to do more than wish, I'm going to start. Thanks for the question, you motivated me.

Wow, 1985? That's quite awhile. I have kept journals over the years, but usually it's more for my travels. I am not consistent in writing in it though!

I do have one book that I keep for things I learn from the holy spirit, things God "tells" me or shows me, and insights I have about things from a biblical perspective.

So far God has allowed me to remember things. I used to like to bring up word for word conversations with my students from years earlier. I could get close to the date, and day of the week and time. I guess maybe one day I will write it down. I do a little in my blog.

Mine is sort of a backwards journal.
Starting at age 13, I started writing down what I wanted to do, and be, with my life.

As I get older, I add more things to my journal of things I want to do as I get older.

Interestingly, most of what I wrote down, have come true for me.

I am now 55.

For memories, I use photographs and lots of photo albums.

Especially now with digital cameras.

Yes I do keep a journal. It is a good way for me to express myself, especially since I'm more of a quiet and private person.

No daily journal, I don't have time for that...instead I keep a book for my children of interesting facts of my life, their lives, grand babies and current events. I update it when I can. I started the book in 1972...can you believe I paid 25 cents for a gallon for gas???? lol AND there is no longer a cent sign on the keyboard? lol

No, but I'm hoping to retain them for my rocking chair days! I do have articles from the newspaper to remind me of them! Some I'd just as soon forget!

Sometimes I have written in journals and other times I have not kept them.

My true journal is all my precious memories.

Good times are easy enough to remember and hard times are too difficult to forget.
