No. Muts or mixed breeds make excellent pets. As a matter of fact, sometimes they are even smarter due to picking up traits from other breeds.

Sabby The Wonderdog® is a purebread AKC Black Lab, but I would love him just as much if her were not....

I rescued a male Jack Russell from the pound that is pure breed in my book! He was already neutered and had a short tail. I'm sure he ran away because it took intensive training to get him to stay home!!!! I then rescued a Jack Russell from the rescue because she had a behavior problem. I work all day with these dogs and love them with all my heart. I never thought in a million years I would have known the joy those two have brought me!! It doesn't matter to me.

No I have both a pure breed and a heinz 57 mixed breed and I love them both just that same. Being a pure breed isn't important to me.

I prefer a cross between 2 different breeds. My 2 best dogs were a schnauzer / jack russell mix and a beagle / brittany spaniel mix.

I will be the next time pickier---what I thought was a lab x ended up being a pitbull/rottweiller, that was attacking my learning to walk son...I gave it back to the sellers and won't be buying anything unless it's purebred with papers.

No preference. I'll adopt a dog that's cute, good with children, easy tempered, and energetic. It doesn't have to be a purebreed.

No. We got our dog when we saw a sign for Free puppies. (Of course they aren't really free now are they?) She's part yellow lab and part German Shepherd.
