It's the end of the Mayan calender. And there is scientific proof that a cycle of sorts will come to an end. What does that mean for us? Will we somehow be connected to the whole universe?

The last date on the Mayan calendar is December 21, 2012. Some speculate that it is the end of the world, since the Mayans were calendar was so advanced and could predict eclipses, etc.

If it's the end of the Mayan calendar, they will just have to start a new one. What is the scientific proof? We are connected to the whole universe.

I accually find that interesting cause I read that there is suppost to be a huge asteriod nearing earth in 2011 or 2012, which was descovered in june 2003. I cant remember the name of it or anything but if you google, asteroid 2003 or 2011 im sure you will find it.

No, it means the Mayan calander has ended. Not humanity, or Earth, or whatever, has ended as we know it. There is no scientific proof.

i think of you advise December 21st 2011, however the worldwide will pass on inspite of what the Mayan Calender says. i understand on could 21st i will have a hangover because of fact my only right acquaintances birthday is could twentieth, yet i do no longer think of something particular is going to ensue on the 21st day of the different month.
