Got a 99 Windstar, the A/C is not very cold and I suspect the Air Coolant is all used up, seen some kits that attach to the A/C unit and refills them anyone ever used them before? and do they work?

just did my 98 windstar with a kit i got at wal mart , works great and isnt hard to do. have done several vehicles over the last 5 years with it never had any problems, just watch your gauge to make sure you don't over fill ..

Yes but you don't want to over charge your ac so check the specs on the van before adding more freon

yes they do. However, you really need to get the leak fixed first. If not, then you are doing this every year, and you never know when it will cut off on you. Good luck with it.

if you low on r134 then you have a leak some where, take it to a professional, fix the leak and have the system re-charged.
