How much will it cost to paint a new 07 mustang that is white now?

Any color will cost the same to paint A good quality re-paint will run $2-3K Retail. The real issue is that you will kill the immediate resale value of the car. If you plan on keeping the car 7 or more years then it is really a non issue. However bear in mind that the dealer might try and void parts if not all of your warranty, water seal / gasket leaks they can claim were removed during the painting process, trim pieces might not be covered, the dealer might even decide to argue that the car was in an accident and not cover the warranty at all.

Personally I hate cars that have been repainted, under the hood is a different color, the door jambs are always missing a spot here and there, the spare tire well is a different color, it is just gross looking to me

You might want to consider graphics, which are basically stickers that can be removed

What are you doing? Are you changing color, or just repainting the car after an accident?

The paint should be like new. But it is your car.

Take it in to at least 3 body shops and get prices. Make sure that they are going to do the same work and compare prices. Ask around and see if someone knows a shop in your area that does good paint work.
Stop some hot rodders with custom paint and ask them, those guys will know who does good work in your area.

anywhere from 2000 to 4000 (estimate, could be more, probably wont be less). If you know anyone who is good with auto body I suggest having them do it rather than a body shop. Good friends or family will usually do it for the price of the paint which will be anywhere from 80 to 250, depending on color and how efficient they are.

not enough info...paint whole thing white..1000 to 2000...change color...3000 collars and up...for good job... production shop can paint it for 500 but i dont recomend it.
