I guess they just wanted the points. Why didn't you post the question here?

Hi, Sheila M.,
I was one of the three people that answered your question about the shrimp grits. When I initially read your question I didn't see the word "grits". Then after I answered I saw that your question said grits. I edited my answer apologizing for the error a minute after I answered. I couldn't answer because I didn't know, but I did a little searching and you can find shrimp grits on the menu every single day at Ouisie's Table Restaurant.
Ouisie's Table
3939 San Felipe St Houston TX 77027 713-528-2264
Enjoy! So you see, I do care about you finding your shrimp grits.
EDIT: I forgot to add the review the restaurant received on their shrimp grits:
The menu has sophisticated versions of favorite Southern dishes (bbq shrimp and cheese grits is to die for; chicken fried steak overlaps the plate and comes with the traditional sides) as well as other seafood, steaks, poultry etc. all tweaked by the talented chef. Portions (with the exception of that steak) are not huge, but suffice on account of the care and richness of the preparation.

I am one of the people who answered that topic, and I had NO IDEA about what shrimp grits were. I was kinda hoping for a little more of a clue, like an additional comment, SO I COULD HAVE TRIED TO HELP.
At Level 6, I certainly don't need the points.
No sense in getting huffy and being rude about it.
Sorry if we Houstonians don't know a whole lot about New Orleans food, but we aren't actually FROM New Orleans...

I will agree with everyone about the points.
It is also a chance to pretend to be an expert. I answered a question the other day. (By the way, it was a technical question. Not an opinion question.) I was answer #11. All 10 answers above me agreed. And they were wrong. I was fairly sure I knew the answer, but I looked it up anyway. I included the documentation. Several answers after me disagreed with me. And several thumbs down votes were added to my answer. I am the only one that looked it up. Everyone else was an expert and "knew" the answer without looking it up.

Ditto on Points.
If you do this long enough, you will see people that fly through and give one word answers to rack up the points. The cynical side of me assumes the point leaders have done this....
Look at their Best Answer percentages and compare to the top.......
