His worst nightmare happened in late-summer...the poll numbers steadied. Unless something drastic happens in the next several months his campaign will essentially become one to take enough delegates to the convention and work on platform issues. He has done a remarkable job up until this point, but he could easily free-fall if he stumbles.

I don't really think so.
I disagree with Obama on just about everything politically, but I do really like the fact that...if you disagree with him, he doesn't immediately start shrieking that you MUST be either evil, a liar, or part of some vast conspiracy. He acknowledges the fact that many issues are very complicated, and that decent people can honorably disagree. That's rare as hell, and is one of the BIGGEST reasons, I think, that people are saying he is relatively inexperienced. It seems that, in politics, being just as ruthless and critical as you can be tends to work...which is one reason we get so damn much of that kinda crap.
Personally, I think Obama is a much-needed breath of fresh air...and when "conventional experience" is to attack and defile those who disagree with you (even if you have to lie to do it)...then I think it's a positive for him that he doesn't have that kind of experience.
Of course, Hillary Clinton (who DOES have about as much of that kind of experience as anyone, considering how much she went on the attack trying to defend her lying piece of sh*t husband against charges that she KNEW he was guilty of) has "let loose the dogs of war" against Obama, because he's her only real threat for the nomination.
And I...for one...don't think he'll be the VP nominee. For one thing, I don't think he'd accept it. And for another, I don't think Hillary would want a VP candidate who's much more charismatic (and likeable) than she is.
Of all the bumbling, incompetent things President Bush has done...and there have been many....by FAR the worst thing he has done is make it actually possible for Hillary to have a real chance to be elected. Ordinarily, she'd have way too many negatives to even have a chance....but in 2008 there are going to be a lot of "anybody but another damn Republican" votes cast, and that ***** actually could get electecd.
Sure wish we had a good strong third-party in this country, with a realistic chance...

Obama has be contradicting himself and constantly threatens others with his policies. He's already lost, if he ever got that far.
Can't everyone see that someones put up the monies for his place in the elections, he surprised everyone with his place, now he can't hold it.
I for one, don't trust him, his policies or his ways.

That sounds like Republican propaganda to me. Obama has done well in the debates. I think Hillary did beat him in that last one.

All these debates are silly, for both democrats and republicans. They should wait and hold debates when there are fewer candidates.
