Yes, I also enjoy getting my teeth drilled with out any Novocaine. My prostate examined. Stubbing my toe. Getting into car wrecks. And most importantly getting robbed.

Gas prices are not high by any measure. You need to compare gas prices with anything else, houses, cars, clothes, food, you name it. they are exactly where they should be. When I learned to drive, gas was about 30 cents.gal., you could buy a home for less than 20K, and a brand new Volkswagon could be had for about 2K . Now it is tough to find a home for under 200K in the same area and gas went up about the same percentage. What's different is you can buy a car that gets far better mileage than was available then, so the same trip actually will cost less in todays dollars.
Libs need to stop being so incredibly stupid and naive and learn the facts before they complain.

i assume Henry Ford became a hippie too, inventing the damn automobile . . . and the damned 2-day weekend . . . yeah, enable's bypass tar and feather HIM! I doubt the chinese language and Indians are hippies, as they are enjoying a important place in this present day upward push interior the gas expenses. And the hippies have been the 60's - over 40 YEARS in the past!!!!! that's like blaming the Romans for Islamic violence (i.e. in the event that they did not disperse the Jews, issues could be distinctive now . . . ). Did the hippies invent financial commodities hypothesis? i don't think of so. Did they help the Arabs shield their place interior the middle East? I doubt it. Whoa, wait - you recommend Ben & Jerry's became at the back of the give way of bear Stearns?!?!?! and is not it constantly the activity of the greater youthful technology to restoration the older's blunders? You sound such as you quite want to in basic terms "journey" on the older technology's coattails and not could do (i.e. restoration) something. Lazy. Necessity is the mummy of invention - till we could desire to get off of the oil, we will invent/make investments the subsequent maximum suitable element - at this element, i don't think of we are there yet, regardless of the fee bounce. i might recommend you replace into the recent "hippie" and alter this present day international - so which you would be able to get blamed by skill of the subsequent technology . . . the two that, or in simple terms pass to China, the place the fee controls are in place and you will guzzle your fill of gas till that united states collapses. have exciting!

No, I don't, but we have made our bed now we have to sleep in it.
We don't allow for the exploration of oil in our country due to unreasonable environmental concerns. Because of those same concerns we make it cost ineffective for the refinery company's to build new refineries.
We have shut down many of our own oil drilling rigs because it was more cost effective to by oil from Arab nations that are not regulated by any governing environmental agencies.
We have voted into office democrats that continue to raise fuel taxes and tax the fuel producers so that they pass the cost on to us consumers.
We allow Mexico and Canada to drill for oil right on our borders so they are draining our natural resources right out from underneath us an selling it back to us.
And this whole time scientists say that the United States is sitting on the largest concentration of crude oil in the world.
So no I do not like paying over $3 a gallon but this is what we deserve for the uneducated decisions that we have made.
We vote because of catch phrases and false promises not on peoples record, common sense, or integrity.
Our founding fathers would be ashamed to see what we have done with the gifts they left behind for us.

Not really, but they have not impacted my driving habits one bit. I do shop around for a lower price along my typical travel paths more though. This has not impacted my driving habits because I would be traveling in these areas anyway.

If people do not like paying a higher price, drive less then. The Europeans pay far more for gas than we do.

Thats why I leave a little bit in the tank hoping someone will want to borrow my car... they always feel obligated to at least fill it half way so that gets me to the next time someone needs to use it... they have gone down about 20 cent a gallon here in ct.

yes I love having to pay for all that gas to get to school and then when I could do something I can't because my money is in my tank and I get to stay at home because I can't afford to drive in excess and visit my family and friends in my free time thank goodness for Q&A

Not yet. But I will if they'll only go up a couple more bucks and the traffic FINALLY begins to thin out a bit. I'm serious.

The same way I love Coors beer. The bigger the profit margin the bigger the donations to the RNC.
