For me it isn"t. For me it was at first but now it is about the people we get to connect with, and I have found some VERY good people whom I otherwise would not have gotten to know. SO no matter how many times you get violated, or suspended it doesn't matter because as long as the people you have grown fond of are here who cares how many points you do or don't have.
OK I been drinking so I felt a lil mushy, tell anyone and I will pull yer hair! :)

You're quite right. The people I have met through Answers transcends the points or the level. I never knew when I started out here, just how many great friends I would meet.
I would be lost without them now. They are simply the best!

The points and levels are a bonus and are nice if I get them. However I feel that the bonds and friendships that I have developed are more important and worth more than any amount of points and levels and Top Contributor badges can ever be.

Not at all.........the points mean nothing for the most part. I love that when you see a familiar Avatar you know what kind of answer to expect. And it is also good when some people don't take this so seriously

That's the only reason I'm using Yahoo Answers, for more points and to progress through more levels.

The points and levels are secondary. I like a lot of the people here and enjoy the interaction with them. And I feel like Answers helps me keep on my toes intellectually and helps me keep my wit sharp. Well... as sharp as it ever gets anyway!

At first it was too. Until I came to P and S. Now its about making friends and telling my option not what people wanna hear.
