The common refrain from most Dems and Bush-haters is that our 4 year recovery is creating mostly low wage retail and burger flipping jobs. Actually this is the standard propaganda from the Dems anytime a Republican is President.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

This analysis of job changes and average wages from July 06 to July 07 clearly shows that about 1.3 million new high wage jobs were created, and about 350,000 high wage mfg and construction jobs lost. That's a net of 950,000 new high wage jobs. There was also another 650,000 or so new medium and lower wage jobs.

Please check out this link http://www.optimist123.com/optimist/2007/08/where-the-jobs-.html especially the second graph. That graph references Table B-3 from the Bureau of Labor Statistics on wages. That table can be found here http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.t16.htm

By all means, look at the debt clock. You see debt as a percentage of GDP is actually ticking backwards. That means we are more able to afford our national debt.

Yes, I did, but you will not hear this on the MSM or from the Democrats, you see what is good for Americans, what makes Americans feel good about themselves and our great country is bad for the Democrats.

Any more great news you can share with us?

You are exactly right. The problem is that most of the public and most on the left of the political spectrum do not realize our economy has changed. We are not a blue collar country and will never be again. With such a high percentage of the population being college educated, we are naturally going to have a more white collar economy.

I see this in my family if you look back at the past few generations:

My grandfathers worked blue collar jobs and barely a high school education.

My father has a sort of blue collar job, but it does not fit the traditional definition. He has a high school education plus a little more.

I am a law student. I definitely will not have a white collar job and I will probably make more than my father within my first five years of graduating law school.

Sorry to say, but we do not live in a blue collar society anymore and should be happy that we are becoming a more white collar society because it means more Americans will be more educated, earning more money, and working jobs that are less physically taxing.

I consider "Liberal Bias." If the ninety 9% could desire to cut back decrease back on discretionary spending, like washing machines, with the aid of fact there is been an excellent hollow torn of their ranks via the irresponsible and downright fraudulent strikes of a few contributors of the a million%, it would not take an practise in economics to work out why the restoration has been so sluggish. Trickle-down economics has been shown to not artwork - if business enterprise people can not sell a product to the midsection-type, they don't seem to be going to hire every person to fabricate unsellable products. An anti-compete clause is fairly fairly wide-unfold in ANY marketplace. yet do not anticipate that some super advantages of YOUR line of artwork inevitably prepare in another marketplace. individually, i'm satisfied to work out you doing nicely, yet not anybody is in the comparable place.

The problem with white collar: you cant survive on it. As other countries around the world become developed and college educated they too will want to avoid the factories and work in offices. Then what?

We cant eat healthcare or business services. We just use national debt right now to live the posh white-collar lifestyle right now, but as soon as our lenders decide they dont fel like producing for us anymore and taking our printed paper scrap we call money we will be SOL.

Of course I knew that and I never trust any liberal. Most of them lie and just for that reason you can't trust any of them unless you know them personally.

I love it when people want high paying jobs but they don't have the education to get that job. These liberals think they should get $100,000 a year with a high school education.
