Every frigging chance that they get! And its funny they never miss any chance to put their 2 cents in. Yesterday when I was at the store a man said it was his birthday tomorrow, I asked him how old he was going to be he said 35 and I said oh quite young then asks me how old I am and when I said it he said you don't look it you look like your 20. I turn red.....and flattered and my daughter said "Mom he was coming on to you" I started laughing that out of a 14 year olds mouth! She knew it I had no clue!!!!!!

Yeah, and usually at really inconvenient times. My youngest daughter sees the world as black and white. It's either right or wrong and if it's wrong she wants it set right. She won't hesitate to point out to an adult they shouldn't have their dog on the play park or tell a child they shouldn't touch something (that says, "don't touch") While I admire her desire to follow the rules, I hope she soon out grows it.

yes they do.....
a few years ago my six year old, who was very into commercials at the time, got a serious look on his face and said "Mama, I want to taste the rainbow"
At Christmas we always listen to Christmas music in the car and this past year my four year old decided that she loved Santa Claus is Coming to Town, she sang it like this "He knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good so be good for Goodner's Steak!" (we have a restaurant in our town called Goodner's Steakhouse so it was pretty funny)
The list goes on and on....

My son, a young teen at the time, was asked by his teacher if anyone knew how to boil water. His reply?
"I'm already up to chicken!"
