Oh yes, and I know why your asking this question my beautiful son it's because of what your little sister has been doing lately.
It must be driving you nuts as well...even though most of the time she is funny when she does it.

That made me laugh out loud!! Yes, my kids do that on a daily basis. My almost two year old does that and I continually say "what" back.....I usually give up before she does.
Our conversations go something like this:
"mom"
"what"
"mom"
"what"
"mom"
"what"
"mom"
"Do you want a piece of candy?"

My daughters only 9 months old - but, yes, shes already starting.. haha. She sits there going "Maaa maaaa mama! Maaaa! Maaaaa! MAMA!" LOL. But, she takes after me. I did that alllll the time to my mother. Whenever she said "what?" I'd say, "Oh, nothing..."

Yes and it bugs the life out of me! Mine think I won't get mad if they say "I love you," at the end of the mom, mommy momma. It worked for awhile but it's magic has worn off.
