No, it's not true.
There are many laws (all of Title 26 of the US Code) that specify how and when we are required to pay taxes. And 26 USC 7203 makes it a crime to fail to pay income taxes.
There are many examples of people defending against IRS actions and winning, because the IRS did not follow it's own procedures -- that's a due process violation. In other words, the govt must follow its own rules before it can enforce those rules.
So, if someone can prove the IRS cut corners, they can win. But if the IRS follows the rulebook, then the person loses.

Here I will put it to you in a better way, Yes your right on all questions, There actually isn't a such law that states you have to pay taxes, But business are required to take taxes from employee pay roll, sales taxe etc. and if they don't the IRS will close there business doors for not getting the taxes, it all boils down to our great USA government Bullies!, But The IRS is no one to be on the wrong side of the bridge with!!!
If you feel you have ton's of money to hire the best lawyers you could possible find, Yes you could sue them and Possibly win! But just remember one thing, the IRS will after words be in your shadows for the rest of your life just waiting for you to make a mistake! Now who the hell would be cazy enough to want that?

I would have said no because we are the little people to the IRS but if I guy actually won, I'd say try it but don't do it alone. Get yourself a good attorney that is willing to take this case on.

That has been happening for almost 100 years, since the 16th Amendment legalizing it. Many have won....
Just never won the appeal. And if they choose not to pay their taxes after that, the Federal Prison system awaits them...........

depends what you are suing for. You can win.
The IRS is un-constitutional anyway. You can't tax someones income and then tax them on everything that they buy.
