if you notice that it's stalling when you come to a stop sign or the like.. or sputters before it stalls.. turns over but won't restart.. waits till thing cool off.. then starts up again..

it's likely to be a fuel pump..

Good Luck!

If it continues after you replace the fuel pump. then have the engine control module checked out. Does it happen all the time or only when there is a lot of moisture present. At one time, Chrysler faced the air intake to cool the ECM forward so that it picked up the air flow and any moisture that was present causing shorts and shut downs.

allow me to supplement everyone's answers with a different possibility. yes, fuel pumps act like this.
Another possibility: crankshaft sensor is a hall effect design and is vulnerable to heat. It has been known to die off when it gets too hot for too long.
I suspect the others have a higher possibility of being right. I am just supplying an alternative suspect in this investigation.
