"True" by Spandau Ballet.

It reminds me of simpler times and my best friends in high school (whom I am still friends with today...).

There are many. But for some reason when I read your question the first song which came to mind was the Bay City Rollers; Saturday Night. The specific memory was going to dances at the YMCA where the DJ apparently liked that song because it was played a lot.

Gee, I hadn't thought about that for years. Now the memory is vivid.

Yep, old Doobies are great. Jesus is just alright with me,
Foghat - fool for the city
Nugent - Hey Baby, Snakeskin Cowboy et al.,
Free - All right now
Elton John - Funeral for a friend
Frampton - Do you feel like I do
zepplin - Kashmir
War - All day music
Earth wind and fire - That's the way of the world
Eric Burden - Monteray, Spill the wine, When I was young

Absolutly NO WAY to pick just one. They all take me back.

and the list keeps growing...

each and all of the previous Motown stuff from the 60's...the enticements, the Crystals, Martha and the Vandellas, The 4 Tops. those do not convey tears to my eyes, yet I even have super strategies from then. I additionally nevertheless love the Allman Brothers, Jackson Browne, Eric Clapton, and BB King. The song that brings tears to my eyes is a extra modern-day song, "right here without You" via 3 doors Down. It makes me think of of my late husband.
