Think about it you dummys. He has one of the best d-fences in the NFL. A petty smart coach. And don't forget his had some guy named Adam Vinatieri. If you put Brady in a spot where you need a touchdown to win he doesn't come through.(2007 AFC Title Game vs Colts) Think about if he didn't get that lucky "tuck rule" called vs Oakland in 2002 he would be a nobody. He has 3 rings no arugement about that but did he really earn it. No, the coaching staff, the d-fence, and Adam Vinatieri earned it.

Hell ya, totally agree people always claim that he has terriblr WR but its not true. sure they arent spectacular but they are good, solid recievers. to bring up championships is stupid. he has a great offensive line and running backs to go along with a dominant defense ( that is why hes won championships) he also has a system with bill B. that nealy eliminates his weaknesses as a QB definite system QB. hes good but not nearly as good as he is claimed to be and he is damn lucky he is a patriot

I don't think he is overrated at all. He has very seldom had a great receiving corp, a lot of times the running game wasn't great either. He fits into the system and he understands what is needed from the QB. All quarterbacks have failed when it counted, but he has succeeded on major stages more than most quarterbacks ever will. Failing against the Colts doesn't prove he is over rated. He succeeded way too many other times.
I can see where someone would think he is over rated because he doesn't look flashy. He doesn't throw a lot of great passes, nor do you see a lot of highlight reel plays from the Patriots. They just grind on the other team and execute more often than not.
It is impossible to say if it is just the system or not, but like someone else said in the same system Drew Bledsoe couldn't get the team over the top. Brady stepped in and made a good team a great team. There is no doubt he is far above average. He may not be the best in the league, but he deserves consideration for the title at least.

I hate this guy just as much as the next person but he has put up better stats than people give him credit for. also hes a 3 time super bowl champ and a 6th round pick. Hes never thrown more than 14 picks in a season he has throw for 4000 yards in a season and is good for 24 to 28 td passes a year. the stats dont lie. He could have his best season yet. i would say mike vick was and is the most overrated QB but now i would say vince young, he can win but he is a terrible passer so far, yes he is young but people are to high on him so far. i think he will be good but hes gotta be a better passer

When you are wearing three rings how can you be overrated?? The patriots have a system and he fits it PERFECTLY. Trent Green is the most overrated. The Dolphins could have had Brady Quinn but signed a QB who has MAYBE 2 good years left. And if the preseason is any indication it might not be that much

Overrated means that the player does not play to his potential. I don't know what games you watch but Brady is in the top three QB in the league today. Nothing about him is overrated.

Not me. He has a very mediocre receiving corps, and a capable but not outstanding o-line. His running backs are above average, and thats it. He is a LEADER, and a PRODUCER when it counts most. Defensively, these guys are good, but not at the Bears, Ravens, or Chargers level.

Right, do you even remember the year he took over for Bledsoe?
The guy is a stud. He had the slowest WR core in the NFL last year and still had a decent year.
He is the #2 fantasy QB this year.

Are you kidding me! Tom Brady is overrated, how tell me please, let's me see 6th round draft pick, 3 super bowls, looked good on the resume to, HOF probably. You should asked your question, how underrated Tom Brady is for a 6th rounder?
