Nope...it's just been renamed as 'dance' music and is still very much alive. Just listen and you'll see that all the 'complaints' people had about disco beats being the same..are the very beats being used today.

It'll be back in some form in 30 years. Everything comes back in about 30 years. Necktie styles, ladies' shoe styles, men's suits, great '70s songs that are now used in commercials, gasoline issues, war, etc.
