It seem to me that all Bush has done is to create more government, lead us in to an illegal war, fail to secure our borders and devide our country. Where are the conservative ideas we were promised? I think it's time for a change. I think we need new blood in Washington. Any suggestions?

Sorry Fast Eddy you assumptions (like so many assumptions) are wrong. I am 37 (far from teen ager) and I am not a troll. I am a Constitutionalist. I hate big government and (as I explained) I feel GWB has built more government when he should be making government smaller. You might try reading a little document we call the Constitution it's a good read.

I think you are right, unfortunately all of the Republicans except for Ron Paul want to "stay the course" on this war (i.e. more of the same).
As strange as it may sound Hillary might be your best bet. Bill Clinton was very fiscally conservative and Hillary is likely to be the same, but I don't envy your decision.

George Bush told the nation when he was campaigning that he was a fiscal conservative and would cut taxes. He did and it worked but, what everyone fails to point out is that he put 300 Billion into social welfare and entitlements. The conservatives won't mention it because they're embarrassed and the liberals won't mention it because they refuse to admit Bush ever did anything they liked.
That 300 Billion in 3 years was more than Johnson's whole term even allowing for inflation. In the meantime this is one of the most veto free presidencies in history sending congressional spending by both parties through the roof.
The reorganization of mortgage lending laws put a lot of the poor into their own homes but, as predicted, they are just sqatters and don't even try to pay.
I was ready to join your parade until you did the 'illegal war' boggie. 13 resolutions from the UN before even one American politician even said a word and a near unanimous vote in the Senate and congress says otherwise.
Don't blame him for the borders either, he inherited that as did several presidents before him.
The division? He only did what 90% of the nation told him to do on 09 11. Thank Nancy and Harry for that.
Change? It's coming.
Hillary as an alternative? You should know better.

What an idiot you are. You need to get out of your mom and dad's basement and get with the real world. Had we not taken the fight to the middle east we would be dealing with suicide bombings in our streets. Instead of being a moron how about you just say thank you for keeping our country safe from radical idiots. You probably think clinton was responsible for the economic boom fo the 90's as well. Thank the Republicans before him for the boom and Clinton for the mess we are still trying to clean up.

I guess you and I disagree. Do I think all he has done is true conservative? Heck no. Has he led thru one of the most difficult times in our history? Heck yes.
1. What has he increaded in the Government? The debt? That does't fly when you truly grasp when researching how the National Debt is calculated, and what it is and isn't. It's not the Debt like a credit card. There is no bill coming due.
2. The war was not illegal, unless you choose to discount the 117 UN Violation Saddam chose to break. And he had almost 100% backing of the congress and senate.
3. This is the one that will always get me. How does ANYONE secure our borders? Build a wall? A roof? Or do we further delay every flight, more wire taps, more spying.
Is he perfect? Heck no. But I just disagree somewhat on the points you bring up. They are way to general.

I'm tired of hearing this illegal war crap. There is no legitimate authority that can override the will of the American people expressed through our representatives. Why did we fight for independence if Europe gets to make our most important decisions?
And it's your fault for being DIVISIVE when you can't disagree with a policy without being Anti-Bush.

I think he has protected the US from any more terrorists by retaliating and taking the fight to them, not here.He also ended Saddam Hussein's bloody reign in Iraq.No other leader has had the guts to face Hussein and his fellow torturers. At least pray for our Country and it's leaders.

Oh ...thats right! President Bush.
Nothing you can do about dude. Stop wasting your life on this...Actually I take that back...go ahead and waste your life.
You can ask this same question 10 billion times and you know what? President Bush will still remain in power.
