If you have knitted one of EZ's baby surprise jackets, what length circular needles did you use?

I'm using an 80cm (32 inch) needle for 10-ply (worsted-weight) yarn; I think it's better to go a bit longer than trying to jam all the stitches on a shorter-length needle.

(OK, nothing new in my answer compared to anyone else's - but thought a metric answer might be helpful for any non-Americans reading this... )

I love the baby surprise jacket and have made several of them for gifts. It all depends on the weight of the yarn you are using, but 24"-32" length should be long enough for any weight yarn.

depending on the size you are making, using worsted weight yarn, I would use a circular needle 30 to 36 inches long.

I've made one in sport weight yarn using a 24". For worsted weight, I used 32" but a 24" would have worked easily.

I am using 32 inch Susan Bates for worsted weight. I think you could easily use 24 inch needles.
