By the way Kveryeffective. No I DON"T think its OK for ANY political party, democrat, republican, or an independant to give speeches in churches or to affiliate with a particular religion. Not that it matters, but I am agnostic.

Not just yes, but hell yes.

There are also lessons to be learned from the influence of various religions on society and its mores and habits (Islam being just the worst major example on a spectrum) but that's beyond the scope of your question.

Yes, and Great Britain was our first example. It is a good thing that Queen Elizabeth threw the Catholic church out, who were killing Protestants, and came up with the Church of England! To get away from government sponsored religion was a main reason many people came to this country!

It's difficult to evaluate. Some religious rituals are so structural in some people's lives that saying it is the opposite probable thing to do. First they themselves would have to consider it has a possible and positive step to do. It's harder to deal and judge their way to be exactly for the non separated fields. The assumption that their religious rules are the guide lines of their societies having a moral reading with it might not be "relative" placing them on that "western" position of myth = an age before "reason". And "reason" age has seen huge mistakes, didn't it? Like ideologies being further more important than the human being. But is a huge theme a passionate one.

No

Please why sepration of church and state is only mention in the direction of conservatives?

You guys have no problem with Jessie Jackson & Al Sharpton both ministers taking the public stage.

You have no problem with democrats going to have speeches in churches.

You have no problem when a democrat says he believes in G-d.

Yet a conservative Christian speaks up than the battle cry is for the separtion of church and state.

Clinton spoke in more churches and said Jesus more than Bush but why isn't he call an out of control while he was in office?

Than I would have to say maybe the 1st admendment needs a rewrite.

From "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." to "that Congree will limit people to what they can say if they have faith and free expression will be limited to those what is defind by only certian people."

We have Freedom of Religion in this country not Freedom from Religion.

As long as we have free speech people of faith should be allow to speak up too.

This is why we do not need Democrats in power as we will be surrendering to the Muslims and living under Sharia law which is happening now in Minneapolis Mn. If you go to a Target and check out with beer or pork the Muslim clerks will not do it. Or if you show up and call for a cab with a seeing eye dog they will not give you a ride.
Wake up.
