Although you do have to give big ups to Harry Hamlin and The Clash of the Titans, I still remembe when I saw Batman (Tim Burton and Micheal Keaton) for the first time. The movie had the right tone (dark and menacing), great casting(COME ON!!! Keaton is definitely off center and Jack as the Joker is friggin GENIUS!!!) and was the only time I have left a movie and was replaying scenes over and over in my head. The Batman was the best!

transformers qualify, if not the original superman w christopher reeve. back in the day, that was wicked to see him fly
