Big n Rich ~ Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy (May not be the best, but it has a good beat)

Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Trace Atkins, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Keith Anderson, Alabama, Shania Twain, Charlie Daniels ( "Devil went down to georgia", "In america"), Gretchen Wilson, SheDaisy, Sugarland, Little Big Town, Terri Clark, etc.

Montgomery Gentry has lots of up-beat songs like "Hell Yeah"

Doesn't matter who the singer is get him started on the up beat songs and then start playing less up beat songs, then whatever you want him to hear.

Try the solo album, Wandering Spirit by Mick Jagger. Yes, the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger. Although I disagree with pushing country off on someone that likes rock, Jagger does country and soul.

Pretty much anythihg from Jason Aldean. He tends to be a little "rock-ish" in his country, but he is a great artist, one of my favorites for sure!
