which one of the three holes raises it up the most? all the way forward or all the way back? or is it the on in the middle? im talking about the thing thats in the rear of the bike kind of underneath the rear shock a little behind it. and how hard is it to switch this around? thanks.

Some sports bikes have adjustable ride height - but no-one will be able to answer your question without specific info as to which bike you have.
Raising the ride height gives more cornering clearance, but raising the rear only alters the steering - it steepens the forks, making it steer more quickly, which tends to reduce stability. It can also increase the "dive" when braking.

Ok you might want to go get a friend to help you but to lower your sport bike there is a spring under your seat that attaches to your swing arm turn it counter clockwise the front shocks are not really bad.

If you're talking about the "dog bone" on the rear suspension linkage, stock dog bones aren't adjustable.
The holes are there to lighten the metal.

I think you are talking about the spring adjustment, which affects how much sag you will get when you load the bike (stiffens the spring), it will NOT affect the ride height to any real degree.

If its an adjustable dog bone shorter makes the bike taller.
