I live in California and feel that just because I am not a female my girls got jacked and will pay for this BS for the rest of their lifes.

The mediator is not supposed to act in anyone's best interest -- the mediator is a neutral referee whose sole job is to help the parties reach an agreement.

Whether the parties reach an agreeement or not, that's up to the parties. The mediator has no say in the outcome, and cannot issue any kind of orders or render any decisions.

And whether the parties reach an agreeement or not, only the court has any say in whether that agreement is enforceable or not. The mediator has no power to order or enforce anything.
