Is there a way to know how much memory space you have left in my MacBook? I used to be able to do this in my PC but I don't know how to do it in my mac. Any suggestions???

Hello rockgurl,

You go up to the blue Apple logo at the top left of your Macintosh desktop and then down to the About This Mac menu command. You'll get a window that tells you what version of your Mac OS X you are using. It will also tell you how fast your processor is and how much RAM memory that you have.

You would have to know how much RAM your MacBook is capable of having. If you don't know, then go to the Apple web site and look up the specs on your MacBook:

Best of luck to you.

I think that you are talking about the hard drive space, since not many are thinking about availble RAM ( you can check that in the Activity Monitor available in the Utilites folder ( under Applications ).

But about the hard disk space. When you open the finder ( when you open a folder you are opening it in the Finder ) you will see at the bottom how much space you have left ( at the bottom it will tell you how many files are in the folder, and how much space is available on the hard drive the files are on )
