My husband is saying that he needs to syphen the hose to get over my garden which is in the way...it's filled with chlorine...what is the best way to empty the pool. The spout is facing my garden thanks to my husbands placing of the pool! Other than bucketing the water out(come on too much labour) what is the best way to empty it without affecting my gardens.

It's a dolfino inflatable pool 4 ft high...

I live in a pathetic town with no walmart and no home depot---i know I feel sorry for me as well ;-) so I can't go there to get the cool products, I just gaze longingly at the flyers!

Just don't put any chemicals in the pool for a week or so before you drain it. They will evaporate... come on be honest how many times during the summer did you say"What happened I just put some of this or that in a couple of days ago ?" Besides growing season is almost over. Just put the pool some where else next year.

If I'm properly visualizing what you mean, could you attach two or three lengths of hose together, and run them through your garden, to the other side?

Ideally, you'd want to run the hose length all the way to the street, so that you can empty the water into a sewage drain grate there, rather than putting all those chemicals into your yard.

try piping, there should be a way to connect a pipe to the spout, even if it means making one. then when the pool is empty, tell your husband to get off his *** and turn the pool so it wont ruin your garden.

with a really big straw...or you could use a bilge pump. Home depot rents them, the pump, not the straw. ;)
