Harry Potter is so lame. It's supposed to be a CHILDREN'S BOOK, yet people are scheduling their weddings based on the release of Deathly Hallows.

It was more than a children's book. And those who were Harry's age when the first book came out in 1997 were twnety to twenty-one when this last book came out this year. So many who got into the books when the first one was released were still reading them after reaching adulthood. Harry Potter went from being mere childrens books at the start of the series to being young adults books at the end of the series.

But they were always more than that. The Harry Potter series managed to be a series for all ages.

Of course I don't wish he died in book 7. I'm just happy the way it was. And anyway, why is it that you don't like HP and think it's lame? And if you think it's so late, why do you even bother to ask a question about it. Besides, you're just one person who thinks that way. There are a whole lot of other people out there that like/love HP and that's why the books are out there. So, basically, if you don't like HP, then don't bother writing questions or even reading comments about it.

Have a nice day!

no, actually i liked the ending. the potter series is not lame. it is brilliantly weritten and will be children's classics in the future. if you do not like the books, that is your opinion, but i very much enjoyed them and i believe that any author that has the talent to draw youngsters into reading is incredible. just think how many students have benefited from reading the books. think new culture, life lessons, new vocabulary, and most of all imagination. too many things today take away a child's opportunity to pretend and make believe! great books give them that opportunity!

WHAT IS IT WITH YOU PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE HARRY POTTER, SERIOUSLY!? IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT SO MUCH, IF ITS SO LAME THEN DON'T BOTHER WITH IT!! I DON'T GET IT YOU GUYS HATE IT SO MUCH YET YOU BOTHER TO WAIST YOUR TIME TO WRITE/READ/COMMENT ABOUT IT!!! I ASK YOU WHY DO YOU DO IT? IF YOU SAY BECAUSE YOU'RE BORED AND HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO HERE'S AN IDEA:

PUT A PAPER BAG OVER YOUR HEAD AND MARCH DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET YELLING: UNGHAWHAY! UUNGHAWHAY!

HP FANS WHO THINKS ITS THE IGNORANT PEOPLE SAYING HP IS LAME? BECAUSE APPARENTLY THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF IMAGINATION AND THE VALUES IT PROVIDES FOR ALL BUT FOR CHILDREN MOST OF ALL!

Of course not! No HP fan would want that. Surely enough people died in HP7. Besides, what's done is done. No matter what you do, you can't change it.

One of the appeals is that it crossed ALL age groups.

I suspect my Father had more pleasure reading something interesting to his granddaughters than the girls did getting read to.

If you don't like it, don't talk about it. Harry Potter is done. Move on and get over it.

No I don't think he should have, if you don't like the books, don't talk about them. And I mean really, people can plan teir weddings anytime they want to, geez its their wedding after all, not yours.
