My last name when I was a kid was Van Eenaeme ( pronounced van enemy) It was terrible going thru school. Anyone have any wierd or embarrassing last names?

try this for size, my married name was fuchs, you would not believe the way ppl said it or spelled it. lol. had a lot of fun with that one, and its still my last name.

I have two last names, Tashjy and Barnes. Its hypenated like Tashjy-Barnes. Tashjy is arabic, but pronounced in English it rhymes with "Trashy"...so people called me "Trashy Barnes". It pretty much sucked.
I knew a girl in middle school though with the last name Butt and the first name Anu. Her parents weren't from here...they had no idea the reprocussions naming her that would bring to the poor girl. I have to say, she had it worse than I did.

Mine wasn't embarrassing, short, German, only 4 letters, but no one could ever say it right or spell it right, or if they would ask what's your last name and I would say they'd be like "huh?"
Ah-ha! I've been on a bad man trip all day, finally I found an advantage to getting married! lol My last name is very simple now.

I have a friend named Christopher Robin (Winnie the pooh character) and another who named their baby Hunter and their last name is Fisher!

I think your last name was pretty cool myself but I didn't have to live with it. When I married, I kept my last name. I'm Swedish/Norwegian and I tried to get my husband to take my name! He's Mexican and didn't want it...go figure.

I was teased because my first name is pronounced differently than how it is spelled. My parents are foregin too. Oh, gotta love childhood! NOT!
