It's not body, it's Bonnie...It goes...
My Bonnie lies over the ocean
My Bonnie lies over the sea
Oh bring back
Oh bring back
Oh bring back my Bonnie to me...
At least all this time I've thought it was Bonnie...they used it in cartoons when I was a kid...someone else may know different...

Yup... and as a joke, many folks in the 60s sang a line that went:

My Bonnie looked into a gas tank
The height of it's contents to see
She lit a small match to assist her
Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me !

Unless I miss my guess, you're thinking of a much older folksong called "My Bonnie" which you may have heard as "my body".

The lyrics are as follows:

My bonnie lies over the ocean,
My bonnie lies over the sea,
My bonnie lies over the ocean,
Oh, bring back my bonnie to me.

Bring, back, oh bring back,
Oh bring back my bonnie to me, to me,
Bring back, oh bring back,
Oh bring back my bonnie to me.

(bonnie, meaning pretty, is the descriptive nickname of the person who's being missed by the singer)

it's a very old irish song. "bonnie" means beautiful in ireland. believe it or not the beatles did a version....

It's called 'My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean'. It's a Scottish folk song.

Though, you may be thinking of a parody of the song... I'm not sure.

The lyrics:
My Bonnie lies over the ocean, my Bonnie lies over the sea,
My Bonnie lies over the ocean, oh bring back my Bonnie to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me, to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me.
Last night as I lay on my pillow, last night as I lay on my bed,
Last night as I lay on my pillow, I dreamed that my Bonnie was dead,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me, to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me.
Oh blow ye the winds o'er the ocean, and blow ye the winds o'er the sea,
Oh blow ye the winds o'er the ocean, and bring back my Bonnie to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me, to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me.
The winds have blown over the ocean, the winds have blown over the sea,
The winds have blown over the ocean, and brought back my Bonnie to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me, to me,
Bring back, bring back, bring back my Bonnie to me.
