They have from the beginning and that is no secret! They have lied and lied and lied, even in getting us into a war by lying!
Facts are facts, and you know something, Bush wants to hit Iran and declare martial law so there can be no elections in 2008. That's just the type of person he is. They sure have stepped up the Iraq rhetoric, and are even trying to get the Iran Republican guard declared as a terrorist entity! They are helping the Iraqis defeat the people who invaded their country illegally. If some country attacked the US for no reason except resources, I would be doing the same damn thing!
Even the head of the 9/11 Commission said they were given too little money and too short of time to adequately do theirjobs!

The White house does not need to influence the report. As the commander in chief, Bush can simply order the general to report good news.
The media is making too much of a big deal out of the September report anyway. It's going to be a stall for more time.

You know the saying fool me once, well believe me they (bush) will never fool me again. 2004 Was the year I woke up and never as long as I breathe will I believe a Republican I have found them to be a darn silly group of liars and they think we all believe their talking points. I believe nothing until I see it for my self. Wmd's, we are winning. Mission accomplished, fight them over there so they wont come over here. But the borders are open. Any one voting and believing in them is cracked brain

I believe that the people that want to crucify the president are not going to listen to anything that might paint him in a human light. On the other hand they will go out of their way to use any story (with or without a basis in fact) to vilify him.
Why not try to be different and look at all the evidence not just what the far left wants you to see?

Not so much wrongly influenceing the report. I believe these reports hae to very carefully worded. Any indication we are doing badly hurts our troops morale and strenghthens the enemy. Same the other way around, if it says we are doing well our trrops may look at it and say "look we are winning already" and they drop there readiness.
