I get it alot actually. I also get it at the front. It was worse when i was pregnant. I dont know what causes it but its embarresing when you jump out of your seat in public!

No jokes from me, hon. Sounds like some very nasty cramps. You might want to see a gyno to get it checked out first. It may be that the expanding and contracting uterus is pressing on some part of your digestive tract. However, I'm not a doctor, but these organs to affect each other, what with all the hormones and everything. See your doctor.
And take lots of soothing hot drinks. Peppermint tea can be very helpful at this time of the month.

Yes I used to, badly. Then I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis on my lower bowels. Luckily its all sorted now. Pain free at last.

Yes, yes, yes! Very hard to control facial expressions when at work and conceal what is going on as discreetly lifting self off chair! sometimes also get pain/pressure like feeling in urethra...hard to explain.

I get it every so often, not always at the time of my period but usually.

I'm glad I'm not alone. I don't necessarily get it around the time of month, but I do get it occasionally - I usually attribute it to constipation.
